Pentax K-r Review
This newcomer is one of the newest and top DSLR camera that was ever
launched by Pentax. However, the design may be inspired by other models. Some
people say that the model looks a little bit similar to the 35mm SLR, a basic
and quite old Mamiya. But this certainly makes the camera more intriguing. This
14.6 megapizel K-r is sitting comfortably above the entry level cameras such as
the K-5. This camera is not suitable to be called as the best professional
camera, not because it is not good enough in quality but because this
camera is a camera for the beginners. While, price wise, the camera is not so
beginner because its price tags read around 500 ponds. The camera is very
comfortable and easy to grip, maybe because it wants the beginners to be able
to hold it firmly as to increase the quality of the outcome.
Menus and Modes
The menu of the camera can be quite confusing for the users.
This may not be a feature that is expected if it wants to be the best DSLR camera. Underneath each of the four tab, there are multiple pages. You
will need some time to understand and get used to this intricate menu. Changing
something from the system may also take quite a while because you will need to
move from one page to another to find what you need. Inside these pages, you
will find the AUTO, PROGRAM, APERTURE PRIORITY, SHUTTER PRIORITY, etc. If you
want to know more about the menus and also the modes, you can search for the
introduction of the camera online. Just browse to the internet and you will be
able to find all the information that you need. But if you are a beginner, then
you should try to get as many reviews as possible before buying this product.
